Terms of Service

Jubilae is an AI-assisted progressive web application (PWA) that helps families collect, preserve and share older adults' life memories.

The main services include:

• Recording memories by voice through a simple app designed for older adults.
• AI-assisted transcription, writing and layout of collected content.
• Creating audiobooks with a standard synthetic voice or personalized voice cloning if purchased.
• Printing and physical delivery of personal biography books.

The service is provided exclusively through the digital platform; it does not include in-person visits or interviews conducted by Jubilae staff.

At Jubilae, we want the family and older adult to be fully satisfied with the experience. We therefore offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for 30 days.

If during the first 30 days after purchase:

• The older adult does not adapt to the voice app.
• The family decides not to continue the project.
• For any reason you do not wish to complete the book.

…provided the draft has not yet been sent to print , we will refund 100% of the amount paid, without questions or fees.

To request a refund, email suport@jubilae.app with the subject “Refund request”.

The print order to our printing partner is only executed when the designated family member reviews and explicitly presses “Approve and send to print”.

Jubilae may change its printing partner according to production volume and service availability, without affecting the purchased book specifications.

Before that point, the family may:

• Review the complete book draft.
• Request text corrections.
• Change photos or add questions.
• Decide not to continue and request a refund where applicable.

Once the draft is approved and sent to physical production, returns are not accepted for text errors that the family did not correct beforehand. It is the user's responsibility to review the content carefully before approving it.

All rights to texts, stories, photos, voice recordings and any other material provided by the user and their family belong exclusively to the user and their family.

Jubilae reserves only the necessary technical license to process, store, edit, generate print files and produce the purchased book or audiobook. This license is limited, non-exclusive and ends when the service is complete or account data is deleted.

Jubilae will not reuse, sell or transfer family content to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes without the family's explicit consent.

Price: €17.99 per month (VAT included), including 15 hours of conversation with Clara. Extra 5-hour blocks cost €6.49 per month each (VAT included), up to 20 blocks.

Languages: Conversation Mode automatically adapts to the language spoken in each conversation (18 languages available); no language selection is needed beforehand.

Renewal: the subscription automatically renews monthly on the purchase date and is charged to the specified payment method. Extra blocks renew with the subscription.

Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from the Family Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid monthly period; hours remain usable until then. Periods already started are not refunded.

Usage limits: hours are counted by actual conversation time. Unused hours do not roll over. When they run out, conversation pauses until renewal or an extra block is added. The service is for the linked older adult's personal use and does not replace medical, psychological or emergency services.

Hours included with book plans: each book purchase includes free monthly hours: Digital Plan 1 h/month, Memory Plan 1 h/month and Legacy Plan 3 h/month, for 12 months from purchase. They expire afterward, do not roll over and cannot be exchanged for money. If you also have a subscription, free hours are used first.

The user agrees to use Jubilae responsibly and legally. The following are expressly prohibited:

• Uploading or sharing illegal, threatening, defamatory or hateful content.
• Including material that infringes intellectual property, image rights or any other third-party rights without authorization.
• Using the platform for fraud, spam or collecting other people's data without consent.
• Attempting to access, alter or damage systems, databases or other users' content.

Jubilae reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that breach these acceptable use rules.

Jubilae provides services with appropriate professional care but is not responsible for:

• Content errors approved by the user before printing.
• Production or delivery delays caused by external printing or shipping services.
• Damage arising from improper use of the platform.

These terms are governed by applicable law. For disputes arising from their interpretation or performance, the parties submit to the competent courts of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.

By signing up, purchasing a plan or using any Jubilae service, the user declares they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Jubilae may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect on publication and users will be informed when changes are relevant.
